[資訊網路] HiNet 光世代新里程碑 超越ADSL成首選

中華電信 HiNet 光世代10M/2M客戶數正式超越 HiNet ADSL 2M/256K，成為最多人選用的上網速率。同時今年1月起，HiNet新客戶選用光世代10M/2M也達3成。

據國外光纖到戶委員會 （FTTH Council）日前最新發表的「2008年底全球光纖家戶滲透率」排名資料中，台灣排名已擠入全球第4名，緊接在南韓、香港、日本之後，並超越美國的第8名，中國大陸的16名。

The client number of Chunghwa Telecom's Hinet FTTx 10M/2M has surpassed HiNet ADSL 2M/256K; FTTx has become the most popular choice of internet data rate. 30 percent of Chunghwa Telecom's new clients of January 2009 chose FTTx, too.

According to FTTH Council (Fiber-to-The-Home Council)'s 2008 Global Ranking of FTTH Penetration Rate, Taiwan was ranked No. 4, after South Korea, Hong Kong and Japan. At the meanwhile, Taiwan was ranked ahead of the US (No. 8) and China (No. 16).
