[Contest Info] ITRI Global Nano Innovation Contest - Prototype on Prototype [Due to 2010-12-31]

The 2011 POP NANO (a Global Nano Innovation Contest - Prototype on Prototype initiated by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan) is open for registration. Scientist/students and industry are now invited to participate in the contest.

There are two stages, first to submit your ideas by Dec 31, 2010. The second is to make the prototype. The final contestants will be invited to Taiwan for demonstrating the prototype and the award competition. The top prize is 15,000USD.

The contest is not limited to specific disciplines as long as the prototype is enabled by nanotechnology. You may integrate any of the prototype ideas into a more sophisticated system or application with potential commercial value, which is the spirit of prototype on prototype (POP).
