The local residents discovered this area when they looked for water source. The rocky cliff which keeps the reserve has been weathering for a long time, and the fossils on the surface are mostly damaged and difficult to recognize. However, because the reserve is too large, as long as one peels off the surface rocks, the fossils are easily observed. The discovery has caused an exciting stir in the tranquil countryside.

The local people said, the cliff of fossils is located in a very remote area. It is discovered by the people who try to look for water source. The reserve has a wide variety, and it is believed that this area could be a good option for elementary or high schools' field instruction. But some people worry that too many visitors may destroy the remains.
