[科技政策] 資策會高軟園區設立辦公室 促進高雄IT產業再造

資策會高雄軟體科技園區辦公室2009年1月21日啟用，並成立策略夥伴合作中心，希望藉此帶動南部資通訊產業群聚效應。
        
資策會將投入研發經費、配合政府相關政策及高市府發展軟體產業的措施，與南部業者共同推動南台灣資訊服務、創新應用、數位內容、遊戲軟體等產業發展。

該辦公室成立初期將有南部資訊處、數位教育研究所、創新應用研究所三個單位進駐，重點方向包括研發創新資訊技術、產業創新資訊應用輔導、新創事業育成、高階資訊人才培育、推動資訊產業與推廣新興ICT應用等。資策會同時成立「策略夥伴合作中心，將提供技術、專利、法務、市場情報、提案輔導及企業經營等六大專業服務，協助企業運用產官學研資源，培育資訊企業成長。

[Sci-Tech Policy] Institute for Information Industry Sets Office in Kaohsiung Software Park

The office of Institute for Information Industry, III, in Kaohsiung Software Park starts the operation on 21st-Jan., 2009, and, at the meanwhile, an associate center for strategic partnership is set as well, in order to allure the formation of IT-industrial critical mass in southern Taiwan.
        
With the new-established platform, III will sponsor the R&D's, be coordinated with the related policies of national government or Kaohsiung city government, and be cooperated with IT companies in southern Taiwan, to promote the IT development, especially regarding industries such as information service, innovative digitech-enabled applications, digital content, and game software.

The office will be initially made up of three units: Southern Information Service Division, Digital Education Institute and Innovative Digitech-Enabled Applications & Services Institute (IDEAS). Six main focuses of service are R & D of innovative information techniques, counseling in innovative digitech-enabled application, business innovation and incubation, high-level IT-talents training, impetus to IT industries, and promotion of emerging ICT application, by means of which III hopes to assist the companies in application for industrial-official-and-academic resources, and to incubate the new incorporations in southern Taiwan.
