經濟部推動太陽光電有成

經濟部能源局自2000年開始陸續推動各項補助方案，分別以「陽光屋頂」、「陽光電城」、「光電建築」、「陽光校園」、「緊急防災」與「陽光社區」等方向，鼓勵太陽光電建設。其中「陽光校園」因由教育部國教司與經濟部能源局共同支持，自2006年迄今全國已有40所中小學受惠，完成太陽光電系統設置，成果斐然。

至2008年12月12日止，國內累計已核准設置系統有541座、7.36MWp、完成設置者有384座、4MWp，2008年底完工的高雄市運會會場1MWp計算在內的話，全台迄今完成5MWp太陽光電發電系統設置，每年度可發電600萬度，約可提供1600戶以上住家用電，補助計畫成效卓越。


Ministry of Economic Affairs Achieved Concrete Success in Encouraging Photovoltaic Construction

Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs, began serial promotion projects on photovoltaic construction since 2000, including "Solar Roof," "Photovoltaic City." "Photovoltaic Architecture," "Solar School," "Precaution against Emergent Calamities" and "Solar Community," among which Solar School Project achieves a great success due to the co-support from both Department of Elementary Education (Ministry of Education) and Bureau of Energy (Ministry of Economic Affairs). Forty elementary and high schools have finished their photovoltaic constructions since 2006.

Up to 12th-Dec, 2008, there are 541 units, 7.36 MWp, licensed for installment, among which are 384 units, 4 MWp, finished. Had the photovoltaic system of the stadium of Kaohsiung World Games (1 MWP), expected to finish before the end of 2008, been included, Taiwan possesses the photovoltaic facility for 5 MWp now, which can provide six hundred million kWh per year sufficing for the need of more than 1,600 families.
