[Finance] NTU Finance to Cooperate CFA on Courses (<a href=http://mepopedia.com/forum/read.php?127,18462>Chinese Version</a>)

<i>NTU Newsletter</i> (Issue 1073) Department of Finance, National Taiwan University (NTU) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute signed cooperation agreement on December 2, forming a course partnership. CFA Institute's Asia-Pacific Chairperson Dr. Ashvin VIBHAKER, NTU Finance's Chairperson Shing-Yang HU and CFA Taiwan Branch's Chairperson Tommy LIN witnessed the signing ceremony.

The training scopes in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) covers a great share with CFA's knowledge system. Forming alliance with CFA for the academic training institutes shows the collegiate recognition of its Code of Ethics and Cods of Professional Conduct.

CFA Institute is a global professional non-profit organization planning and hosting CFA courses and examinations, publishing related journals, promoting professional development programs and yielding integrity-and-ethics-based standards with regard to business and financial management. Its CFA Level III Certificate is recognized as the most authoritative in finance field.

CFA's courses partnership program began since 2006 with the first collegiate partner Sa簿d Business School, University of Oxford. By now, 140 institutes around the globe have been involved therein, and 35 of them are in Asia-Pacific area.

By the agreement, CFA Institute will offer CFA journals and electric resources to NTU Finance; the audio and video materials in CFA website will be able to be used for training in the department; besides, students will be able to take CFA online sample exams or apply for CFA scholarship. NTU Finance can also recommend five students for the reduction of registration fee for the certificate examination.
