<i>Edu-leaders.com</i> (2011/11/13) A Taiwan Education Center will soon come up in the campus of Amity University, Noida in India. To make it a reality, Amity University and National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) have inked a pact. According to the pact, Taiwan Education Centre (TEC) will promote learning in traditional Mandarin Language among Indian students. It will also facilitate greater understanding and cooperation between higher educational institutions of India and Taiwan.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Dr. Tsong-Ming LIN, Political Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education, Republic of China and Dr. Ashok K. CHAUHAN, Founder President of Amity University, jointly by Dr. Maj. Gen K J SINGH, Vice Chancellor of Amity University and Professor Da-Hsuan FENG, Senior Vice President of National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.

The Political Deputy Minister of Ministry of Education, Republic of China Dr. Tsong-Ming LIN said that TEC aims to develop Chinese language in India through collaborative projects. He highlighted that at present, over 450 Indian students are studying in Taiwan and he wants more Indian students to study in the educational institutions located in Taiwan.

The Founder President of Amity University, Dr. Ashok K. CHAUHAN said that the collaboration is going to be rewarding for both the universities and in fact, both the countries. He added that the student exchange programmes will deepen the mutual understanding between the two countries.
