“3D City Model Laser Scanner” consists of a laser rangefinder, video camera, GPS and inertial navigation system. The equipments are carried by automobiles or other vehicles such as airborne vehicles. When the vehicle moves, the data are captured and accumulated. The 3D street as well as building's interior model reconstructed in accordance with the data captured can make up the shortcomings of satellite 2D map.
