CNA (2011/09/16) Department of Health Minister Wen-ta CHIU headed to San Francisco Thursday night for a two-day Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) health policy summit, where non-communicable diseases will be the main topic on the agenda.

CHIU was invited by United States Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen SEBELIUS to talk about Taiwan's approaches to non-communicable diseases at the Health System Innovation Policy Dialogue summit organized by APEC's Health Working Group and Life Sciences Innovation Forum.
