(HAITEC) established a research center for automobile information and electronic technology together, broadening and enhancing the exchanges and cooperations between two sides. Via the academia-industrial cooperation, both sides expected that the R&D capacity for the automobile manufacturing and the automobile information-electronic technology in Taiwan could be elevated. The inauguration ceremony of the center was held in NTU campus on August 16.

HAITEC is the R&D center belonging to Yulon Group; the center aims at cultivating the talents in automobile technology and presenting Taiwan's own-brand cars. The globally first intelligent car LUXGEN MPV is one of the achievements of the center. In order to cultivate the automobile talents, HAITEC has spent a lot of effort during the past years in cooperation with academic institutes. This cooperation between the industrial head and the academic head of the automobile technology in Taiwan and the establishment of the research center both signify more intense technological exchanges and integration of resources between the industry and the academics, which is expected to benefit the R&D capacity of Taiwan's automobile technology.

Automobile manufacturing is a nation's leading industry and quite influential to the development of the nation's economy and industries.
