[DefenseTech] R.O.C. Armed Forces Develop Cloud Services for More Secure and Fast Information Communications (<a href=http://mepopedia.com/forum/read.php?127,13015>Chinese Version</a>)

<i>Military News Agency / All-Out Defense Education Forum</i> (2011/05/03) Ministry of National Defense released the news at the regular press meeting that the national armed forces plan to develop military cloud service in order to provide the army with more secure and fast information communications. With the cloud services, oral, data, audio and video exchanges will become possible with the military networks. The services such as video telephone or online virtual conference will improve the operation efficiency in the army.

The national armed forces point out, the military information services will also develop relevant solutions or applications on advancing mobile online devices such as iPad. In the future, the soldiers will be equipped with mobile online devices so that certain digital information services such as digital maps, 3D digital maps or realtime disaster satellite pictures will become forceful assistance for their task-execution.
